Growing up playing a variety of sports, I not only learned a lot about myself, I learned invaluable life skills from problem-solving, to self-confidence, to celebrating success and overcoming defeat. Now I’m sharing those experiences with the kids I coach.
I began teaching swim lessons when I was 16. I now teach both kids and adults at Merritt Clubs in Towson. It’s truly rewarding to watch the kids grow and progress, becoming more comfortable and confident in the water. Learning to swim is an invaluable life skill and I encourage everyone to learn to swim.
In addition, I coach girls lacrosse for Coppermine in Baltimore. Having played lacrosse at the rec, club, varsity, and collegiate levels, nothing makes me happier then to spread my knowledge about the game I love to future generations of laxers.
When I’m not coaching, I work as an interactive marketing content specialist and enjoy competing in races and triathlons, skiing, reading and playing in social sports leagues.
